"People are unwittingly trusting the information they find on Wikipedia, yet experience has shown it can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or misleading," she said. "Parents and teachers think it is [okay], but it is a light-weight model of knowledge and people don't know about the underlying model of how it operates.

за най-обща информация и най-общи сведения е прекрасна.
А който иска нещо по-сериозно и който знае да чете сериозна литература/източници - Викито е супер за начало.
Алтернативата - разни вестници и "новини" по Интернет са с по-ниско качество от Викито.
Скоро четох една статия в Таймс (препечатана в Стандарт) за Грид - пълна трагедия - инф. във Викито е 100 пъти по-вярна и коректна относно Грид (GRID computing).
Такива ми ти работи.
